How to Join a Neopets Guild

If you play Neopets to make new friends, you may want to join a guild. Guilds exists for all kinds of special interest groups--everything from meeting other people your age to meeting people who like the same music or movies. You can join a public guild, apply to a private guild or form a guild of your own.

Socialize Through Neopets Guilds

1. Navigate to the neighborhood in which the guild in which you are interested is located. Move your cursor over the "Shops" link and click on "Neopia Central." From the menu that appears, move your cursor over the icons until you come to the label for "Guild Headquarters" and click on the icon.

2. Visit guild neighborhoods to see the different guilds that you can join in Neopets. Clicking on any of the neighborhoods will bring up a list of the guilds that are located there. If you are searching for a particular guild, you can do so either by keywords or by the guild name.

3. Click on a specific guild to view more information about it. As someone who is not a member of the guild, you can see a basic description that has been posted by the guild, the number of members it currently has and the number of messages that have been posted. This can give you some idea as to how active the guild is.

4. Request to join the guild in which you are interested. Once you find the guild you want to join, click the "Join Guild" link from within the guild's page. Most guilds are open to the public and anyone can join at any time.

5. Stay up to date on what is happening in the guild. You can view the guild's calendar and message board from its website. By checking the website on a regular basis, you can say active within the guild and meet with people who have similar interests.

Tips & Warnings

• If you want to join a private guild, you will have to get an invitation from one of the guild leaders. You can send a NeoMail introducing yourself and asking for an invite.
• If you can't find a guild that caters to your interests and the interests of your NeoFriends, you can create your own guild and invite other members to join.
• You cannot join a new guild if you are already a member of a guild. Simply select the "Leave Guild" option on your current guild's homepage if you want to join another guild.
