If you cannot start your current operating system, you can install the system again by booting up with the operating system CD inserted in the CD drive.
If you are performing a clean install of a new operating system, all of the information on your Tablet PC will be erased. In addition to backing up your files, you will also need to reinstall programs.
Be sure that the operating system supports Tablet PCs. Operating systems for Tablet PCs may include handwriting recognition tools and rotate the screen automatically for convertible Tablet PCs.
If your Tablet PC does not have an internal CD drive, you will need an external CD drive to install a new operating system from a CD.
