Step 1
Buy ezine software to use to format and design your ezine, or subscribe to a service that helps you manage and publish your ezine (see Resources).
-
Step 2
Make your format work for you. It's best to choose an ezine format that allows you to easily display important content like the ezine's name, summary, publication date, editor's comments, contents and disclaimers. Because ezines can carry a lot of information in a small space, the simplest formats are often the best.
-
Step 3
Decide on a template to use for your first ezine publishing.
-
Step 4
Title your ezine and decide on topics to cover. Ideally, the title of your ezine will indicate the types of topics and content you plan to offer.
-
Step 5
Generate content for your ezine. Consider hiring freelance writers to help you write if you find the task overwhelming.
-
Step 6
Enter your contents into the template. Save it.
-
Step 7
Include a link to your website in your ezine.
-
Step 8
Include instructions on how subscribers can remove themselves from the mailing list at the bottom of the ezine.
-
Step 9
Target your market or audience. Research the types of people who may want to subscribe to your ezine. Many ezine publishers often sell advertisement space for related products on their ezines so that potential subscribers are tempted to subscribe to it.
