1. Concoct a guest list for your adult slumber party. Take into account the amount of space you have and where those guests will spend the night. Decide early on whether to make the party same-sex or co-ed. Finalize your guest list and pick a date.

2. Come up with things to do. Make a list, then think about what everyone's interests are and decide on some fun activities that relate. If you have a lot of movie buffs coming, for example, then perhaps a movie marathon is in order for your adult slumber party.

3. Obtain refreshments. Most adult sleepovers include alcohol, but yours doesn't have to. Either way, be sure that at least one drink choice is non-alcoholic and that there is some type of snack food. Ideas for easily munch-able foods include cheese, veggies, chips and dip.

4. Include somewhere quiet for the first to drop off. Not everyone will fall asleep at the same time, and there's nothing crankier than someone the party kept up. Inevitably, some will want to sleep early on and some will be up till dawn.

5. Plan for the morning after. Decide whether or not you're going to provide breakfast and what to have. Some people just provide coffee and doughnuts, but you could go for a more expansive spread. Always list the time to leave on the invitations or you may end up with more than one straggler.
