How to Use Photobucket

Photobucket is a popular website used to upload photos and video and to share these items with others. You can also do a variety of tasks and projects in photobucket as well. If you are not familiar with Photobucket yet, here's what you can do to use it effectively.

Instructions

1. Go to the Photobucket homepage using your Internet browser.

2. Login to your Photobucket account with your username and password.

3. Upload pictures and videos to your Photobucket account from your computer, pictures from a website or pictures from a mobile phone. Click "upload" when you have finished selecting the items that you want to upload to Photobucket.

4. Work with your uploaded photos and video. You can add titles, move items around in your photo or video albums, share your photos and videos with others, delete photos and videos or even purchase prints or other photo items such as photo books. You can also edit, rotate or change the size of your pictures.

5. Create a slideshow of your uploaded pictures. Simply click "Create Slideshow" in the blue bar near the top of your account page. You can then select the uploaded images that you want in your slideshow, as well as select a slideshow style.

6. Share your Photobucket photo and video albums with others. Click on "Share an Album," and you can then select various other websites, such as MySpace and Facebook where you want to post your albums. You can also set passwords for your Photobucket albums.

7. Explore some of the other things you can do with Photobucket. You can create a remix of your uploaded photos or you can design an avatar. Find links for these options in the blue bar near the top of your Photobucket account page.

• If you do not have a Photobucket account, you can create one by clicking the "Join Now" link on the top righthand side of the Photobucket homepage. Joining Photobucket is free.
• Click the "Help" link that's on all Photobucket webpages for assistance.
