Chameleon Solitaire is similar to Canfield Solitaire except that in Chameleon Solitaire suit doesn't matter when building foundation piles. You'll need a lot of luck to win playing this game. Do not miss a single opportunity to use a card or it may cost you the game.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Deck of cards with Jokers removed
  1. Step 1

    Cut and shuffle the cards.

  2. Step 2

Place the first card from the deck face up to make your first foundation pile. You will have three other foundation piles next to this one and you must use the same rank for the next three. You will find these three cards as you go on in the game. For example, if the first foundation card is an 8 of Spades, you must start the other three foundation piles with the other 8s in the deck and keep each foundation pile the same suit as you build onto them.

  3. Step 3

Deal out three cards face up side-by-side, making your maneuver piles. Each card that you lay on any of these maneuver piles from here on out must follow the rank in descending order and only the top card is available for play. The suit doesn't matter for these three piles.

  4. Step 4

Understand the object of the game. Build four foundation decks separated into four suits going in ascending order starting with whatever card you deal out first. Ace is the low card and after the Ace, you will have to start over again with the high card (King) to finish your foundations.

  5. Step 5

Keep your extra cards in a stock pile. Pick cards from this pile one-by-one and place them in either a foundation pile or a maneuver pile.

  6. Step 6

When you cannot use a card from your stock pile, start a waste pile. You can use any top card showing in your waste pile to place in your foundation or maneuver piles.

  7. Step 7

Win the game if you manage to get all the cards into your foundation piles in ascending order. The game is over when you can no longer make a move.
