Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

In a small bowl combine 1 tsp. each of almond meal, kaolin clay, oat powder, honey powder, borax and 3 tbsp. of distilled water.

  2. Step 2

Let the mixture sit undisturbed for around five minutes. This will allow all of the dry, powdery ingredients to soak in the moisture and mix well.

  3. Step 3

Splash water on your neck and face so that it is damp before applying the almond scrub.

  4. Step 4

Rub the almond scrub on your face and neck using your fingertips. Massage gently in circular motions.

  5. Step 5

Rinse with lukewarm water until your face is clean. Water that is too hot or too cold can damage the skin. Another alternative is to leave the cleanser on as a mask until it hardens. This takes about ten minutes. If using it as a mask, rinse with lukewarm water again.

  6. Step 6

Pat your face softly with a clean towel to dry. Avoid wiping the face roughly with the towel since this can damage the skin.

  7. Step 7

Try making larger amounts for your convenience. Multiply the amounts of the dry ingredients to make as much as you would like. Keep the proportions correct. Keep it stored in a reclosable plastic bag, and mix a small amount with water for each use. The dry mixture will not go bad.
