First, open a new, blank Notepad file. You can do this by going to the Start menu>Programs>Accessories>Notepad.
Step2
Second, write .LOG as the first line of the file, and press ENTER. Save the Notepad file and then close it.
Note: You must type .LOG in capital letters!
Step3
Now relaunch the file. Notice how each time you open it, a new time/date entry is neatly placed on the body of the file. Each entry will appear below the previous one. Now you can take your notes more conveniently and organized.
Neat trick!
Tips & Warnings
Type .LOG as described.
While there may be more advanced methods out there, this is simply a quick resource for those with little time on their hands needing to be a bit organized with schedules.
