Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Large ball
  • 4 or more players
  • Gymnasium or open outdoor area
Step1
Divide the group into two teams. Decide which side of the room or field each team will be on.
Step2
Mark the goals with cones or lay down jump rope. You can use a line on the gym floor or tape if playing in a gymnasium.
Step3
Find a large, soft ball to use when playing this game.
Step4
Sit on your bottom with your feet flat on the floor. Place both of your hands palms downward with fingers facing outward next to you on the ground. Lift your body up and walk on your hands and feet like a crab.
Step5
Walk this way while trying to kick the ball into the opposite team's goal.
Step6
Win the game by being the first team to score 15 points.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can make a large ball if you don't have one. Stuff a trash bag with old crushed up newspapers and tie it closed. Put another bag over this one and tie it again. Shape it into a ball and tape the whole thing crosswise.
  • You may not touch the ball with your hands in this game.
