Instructions
  1. Step 1

Discuss with your child the dangers of wearing high heels. It is important that you let the child know that although she can buy a pair, the heels may be smaller than yours.

  2. Step 2

Shop at a local children's toy store and look for a dress-up set that includes children's high heels. It is common to find princess dress-up costumes complete with a pair of glass slippers.

  3. Step 3

Browse around other stores, if you cannot find a dress up pair of high heels for your little girl. Some department or shoe stores may have a pair of children's high heels that are just about a 1/2 inch high.

  4. Step 4

Allow your child to try on the high heels that you have chosen. She must try them on at the store. If she is tripping over the heels, the pair is not right for her.

  5. Step 5

Purchase the high heels that you feel most comfortable buying for your little girl.

  6. Step 6

Bring the heels home. Have your little girl practice wearing the high heels around the house.

  7. Step 7

Plan a play date or princess party so that your child and her friends can enjoy wearing their high heels.
