How to Transfer Phone Numbers From a Computer to a Samsung BlackJack

Use Microsoft Outlook to store all your contact information. Then if you should lose your Samsung BlackJack cell phone or buy one, you can transfer that contact information to your Samsung BlackJack cell phone using the OEM data cable.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Samsung BlackJack cell phone
  • OEM data cable
  • ActiveSync install CD
  1. Step 1

    Buy the Samsung OEM data cable along with the ActiveSync install CD. These are purchased together as a set from a reputable cell phone dealer or on the Internet.

  2. Step 2

    Enable your computer to access transfer data from your computer to your Samsung BlackJack cell phone by installing the ActiveSync CD. Before installing ActiveSync make sure all other programs are closed.

  3. Step 3

    Insert the OEM data cable to your Samsung BlackJack cell phone.

  4. Step 4

    Plug in the other end of the OEM data cable to your computer using the USB port.

  5. Step 5

    Watch as transfer begins automatically with the ActiveSync program. This will transfer your stored phone numbers from your computer to your Samsung BlackJack cell phone.

  6. Step 6

    End the ActiveSync program by closing the window. Open the contact information in your Samsung BlackJack phone to make sure all information was transferred.

  • Print a hard copy of your contacts in case of computer or phone malfunction.
