Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large, plain white paper (packing paper)
  • Glue or glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Christmas-themed pictures
  1. Step 1

Create a Christmas collage wrapping paper. Gather pictures that you have cut from magazines and glue them on large sheets of paper, the kind you use for packing. You also can use old Christmas card pictures or print pictures from the Internet.

  2. Step 2

Stamp designs onto plain paper. Christmas stamps are available at most craft stores and can be used with ink or paint. For the budget conscious, make your own stamps from Christmas cookie cutters or sponges cut into Christmas shapes.

  3. Step 3

Buy stickers. Use the same style or color of stickers for a themed look or attach a hodgepodge of different stickers all over the paper.

  4. Step 4

Stencil designs on white packing paper. Stencils can be Christmas-themed, such as stars or Santa shapes. You also can write holiday greetings using letter stencils. Trace around the letters and let the kids color them.

  5. Step 5

Use ribbons, doilies, sequins, and other craft supplies to create distinctive wrapping paper for each family member. Make some in silver and gold for your sister who loves jewelry. Use lacy doilies for the aunt who always knits you a sweater. The possibilities are endless.

Tips & Warnings
  • Let any glue, ink or paint on your paper dry before using it to wrap a present.
  • Cover the area where you will be working to prevent stains, spills and other cleaning disasters.
