How to Make an iGoogle Webpage

Create a custom Internet home page using Google. Sign up for a Google account for access to your iGoogle webpage where you can add widgets, games, news feeds and one-click access to your Google mail. Add and rearrange content to get your custom look.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to Google's webpage. Click on the "iGoogle" link at the top of the page.

  2. Step 2

    Make iGoogle your Internet homepage. Use your Internet Browser's "Tools" menu to access your homepage settings.

  3. Step 3

    Click the "Sign In" link on the iGoogle webpage to create an account. An iGoogle account can also be set to provide you with a Google Mai(GMail) account.

  4. Step 4

    Return to your iGoogle homepage. Click the "Get Started" link if necessary and create your custom page.

  5. Step 5

    Add content from the iGoogle directory by checking the entries you want displayed. Click "Show My Page" to view your changes.

  6. Step 6

    Use the "Add Stuff" link to search Google for more widgets, games, news sites and web tools to add to your custom iGoogle webpage.

  7. Step 7

    Move the content on your iGoogle webpage. Drag and drop the content boxes to new locations until you have the custom look you want.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use the "Add tab" link to add a second tab to your iGoogle webpage for even more content.
  • Remove content from your iGoogle page by clicking the "x" button on the content box.
  • Use the triangle button on content boxes to edit the content display options.
