Digital cameras have dramatically changed the way people take photos. We no longer have to finish a roll of film, drop it at the store and wait for it to get developed. Read on to learn the many ways that you can print digital photos.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Order prints from a drug store. Many large drug stores like Walgreens and CVS offer digital photo printing services. Set up an account on the website and upload photos from your computer. Specify the size and quantity of prints. Pick up the photos at a nearby store or pay extra to have them mailed to your home.

  2. Step 2

Use your regular printer. Transfer the photos from your camera to a computer or CD. Resize the photos in MS Word or use a desktop publishing program like Photoshop for more advanced editing. Print the photos on regular paper or purchase glossy photo paper. Cut the photos to size.

  3. Step 3

Purchase a photo printer. Many photo printers are designed to hold special 4" x 6" glossy paper. Shop around to compare print quality, pages per minute and price. Some printers are compatible with digital cameras, so all you have to do is plug in and print.

Tips & Warnings
  • Many drug stores also print digital photos onto items such as mugs, calendars, mouse pads, greeting cards and stationary.
  • Some drug store websites offer basic photo editing features. Rotate a photo, add a border, crop the image or remove red eye.
