How to Hack Stuff in Bioshock

When you're running low on ammo and hiding from the Splicers, the last thing you want is to get taken apart by a stray gun turret or have a security siren start blaring at you. To get around this, you can hack into any of these items and make them work for you!

Instructions

1. Hit the item to be hacked with your Electro Bolt. You can hack turrets, security cameras and security bots.

2. Enter the Hack menu or use the Buyout option. Hacking is free, but you might fail. Buyout always works, but it costs you money.

3. Take a look at the Hack screen. What you see is a puzzle. There are random squares, each of which contains a random tube piece. Your objective is to place the pieces in such a way that you connect the starting point to the ending point without any breaks. If the blue liquid can flow from the opening to the closing spots, you've made it.

4. Turn over the random tiles to reveal more tube pieces.

5. Place the pieces in any way you can to complete the puzzle. To swap pieces, click on the piece you want, then put it where you want it.
