Party goers always enjoy taking home something special. High School class reunion guests are no different. Create a unique favor that your classmates can cherish for years. Favors don't have to be elaborate or expensive items, however, they should be personal and bring back memories for your guests.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Paper
  • Candy bars
  • Magnetic sheets
  • Baskets
  • Foods
  • Beverages
  • Pens
  • CDs
  • Photos
  1. Step 1

Order candy bar wrappers with your class information and school mascot. Buy mini candy bars or the large size to put each wrapper on and hand them out at the reunion.

  2. Step 2

Create year-you-were-born favors. Make a small business size card magnet for each of the years your classmates were born. Find exciting and important events that happened each year. Use your computer to print on magnetic sheet paper and cut each card. Put the magnets on tables in decorated baskets for guests to take.

  3. Step 3

Display decorative baskets on the tables with candy, chips, pop, beer, wine or other small trinkets that are reminiscent of your high school days. Raffle the baskets off to make money for future reunions or draw tickets to give them away.

  4. Step 4

Have pens made for all the guests with the reunion date and place inscribed. The pens make nice keepsakes classmates can use at home.

  5. Step 5

Create a music CD of the songs that were popular while you were in high school. Make a copy for each guest. Labels can even include old high school photos.

  6. Step 6

Put together a reunion booklet for each guest. Ask them to submit some recent photos of themselves and family. Send them a brief questionnaire to send back with information about their lives. Put all the information and photos into a book you can hand out to the guests.

  7. Step 7

Get creative and make a reunion school newspaper. Include the same type of information as the booklet but in newspaper form for each guest to take home.

Tips & Warnings
  • Plan ahead by including questionnaires and photo requests with reunion invitations.
  • Remember favors cost money. Include the cost in the overall charge to attend the high school class reunion. If you've have computer access, you can create your own candy bar wrappers to lessen expenses.
  • Selling additional items at the reunion can be a way of making money to use for future reunions.
