How to Play Pokémon Crater

Pokémon Crater allows players to battle for more Pokémon team members and points to use items. Grow your team of Pokémon characters and train them for battle. The more you play, the more powerful your team becomes. You can even fight Legendary Pokémon once you have beaten every gym leader and all three sets of elite four.

1. Go to the Pokémon Crater website and log in. You need to type in your username and password. You'll need to create an account if you haven't already done so. (See "How to Make a Pokémon Crater Account," under Related eHows.)

2. Move your mouse over the "Battle" heading and select "Battle in a Gym," "Battle an Online Member" or "Battle Any Member." "Battle in a Gym" allows you to build your Pokémon's skills and power to make it stronger in battle. "Battle an Online Member" allows you to battle any Pokémon that is online. "Battle Any Member" allows you to battle any Pokémon whether its owner is online or not. The Pokémon becomes computer-controlled if its owner is not online. You can also Battle live or computer-controlled Pokémon by moving around quadrants of the maps. Move your sprite with the directional controls on the top right-hand side of the screen.

3. Battle your opponent Pokémon by selecting attacks and items to use in battle. One of you will lose all HP and be captured. Your Pokémon will also gain experience points and points to buy items. Some items have affects on your opponent while others replenish your health.

4. Build your team's strength by training in the gym and beating other members or wild Pokémon.

5. Defeat all the gyms and elites to unlock Legendary Pokémon.

Tips & Warnings

• Battling wild Pokémon you find on the map is the easiest way to build up your experience points and points to buy things.
