Instructions

  1. Know the Players' Roles

    • 1

Pick three players to be chasers. These players need to fly around the field, while passing the quaffel back and forth. Chasers try to score goals by throwing the quaffel through one of the opposite team's three hoops.

    • 2

Choose one player as a goalie. The goalie's job is to protect the three hoops so that the other team cannot score.

    • 3

Find two players to be beaters. Beaters fly around the field and use small bats to hit bluggers at the other team's players. Beaters protect their teammates by making sure that the bluggers are always heading toward the other team.

    • 4

Pick one player as the seeker. This position, which was played by Harry Potter, is very important. The seeker scans the field for the golden snitch, a small ball with wings. When the seeker sees the snitch, he flies after it. It is the seeker's job to catch it before the other team's seeker.

    Keep Score and Win

    • 5

Get points by throwing the quaffel through the other team's hoops. Each time the quaffel passes through the hoops, the scoring team gets 10 points.

    • 6

Get 150 points when the seeker catches the golden snitch.

    • 7

Win Quidditch by catching the golden snitch. Once a seeker catches the golden snitch, the game is over. Usually, the team that catches the snitch will win the game.

Tips & Warnings

  • Bluggers can hurt players on both teams. They may knock you off your broom or break your arms. Be careful!
