How to Change the Keyboard Language in Mac OSX

How to Change the Keyboard Language in Mac OSXthumbnail
You can have keyboards in multiple languages available for use anytime in Mac OS X.

The Language and Text module in Mac OS X System Preferences lets you change the language in menus and prompts; format substitute symbols for text; change date, time, number, currency and measurement units to those used in another country; and switch the keyboard language or layout to a language other than English. You can also load an alternate English keyboard such as the Dvorak keyboard or variations on foreign language keyboards and make multiple keyboard languages available at the same time.

When you log out and log back in to Mac OS X, a drop-down menu with selected keyboard layouts is on the login screen above your account name and password entry box.
