Tee ball is a great game for youngsters ages 4-7. The Little League Association is open to all children, regardless of ability or special needs. Tee ball teaches children the basics of team work and baseball while building self-esteem. Most communities have Little League programs. If your community doesn't have one, you can easily start one by visiting Little League's official website for guidelines.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Look for signs or bulletins posted in your community. If there is Little League in your area, they will begin advertising before the spring season begins.

  2. Step 2

Call the local youth sports director for your parks and recreation department.

  3. Step 3

Check with your local YMCA if the parks and recreation department doesn't host a tee-ball program.

  4. Step 4

Start your own Little League teams in your community. Check out the Little League site for a guide on how to create a team in your area.

  5. Step 5

Be a positive adult presence on the sidelines once you've enrolled your child in a tee-ball program. It's important that you encourage good sportsmanship on and off the field with your child and model it for the players while you're in the stands.
