How to Post an Event on Myspace

In the modern world, sending out individual event invitations is only laborious and tedious, it's also extremely unhip. Thanks to Myspace, you can invite hundreds of people to your event at once.

Instructions

1. Go to www.myspace.com. This is the Myspace home page.

2. Sign in to your Myspace profile page using your email and password. If you do not have an account, you must first create one.

3. Click on the "Events" link at the top of the page. It is listed in between "Groups" and "Videos."

4. Click the "Create Event" command at the top of the page. It is in between "Events Home" and "My Calendar."

5. Fill in the "Create Event" form with as much information as possible.

6. Click on the "Save Event" command at the bottom of the page.

7. Invite your Myspace friends. There are several options on this page as well, such as who you want to allow to add comments and who is allowed to see the guest list.

8. Complete the invitation form and wait for the RSVPs to roll in.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure you have the correct address for the event on your post.
• When filling out the "Create Event" form, note the "Public" and "Private" settings. If you only want your friends coming, mark "Private." If you want all of Myspace to have access to your event, then post it as "Public."
