Step 1
Choose a Burrito Bol. The flour tortilla adds a whopping 350 extra calories, and does nothing for the flavor of the dish. So have all your burrito ingredients put in a bowl for healthier eating.
-
Step 2
Choose your veggies carefully. Black beans and pinto beans are almost identical in calories and fat grams and have 130 calories and 1 gram of fat. Fajita veggies are only 100 calories. Rice adds 240 calories, so skip the rice and save some calories.
-
Step 3
Choose chicken or steak. Chicken is 219 calories and 11 grams of fat; steak is 230 calories with 12 grams of fat, so both are pretty healthy options. Or choose to go veggie and skip the meat altogether.
-
Step 4
Skip the add-ons. Top your Burrito Bol with tomato or tomatillo salsa, which adds only 25 calories to the total dish. Skip the guacamole, cheese, sour cream and other diet busters.
-
Step 5
Hydrate yourself with H2O. Cool off from the spicy salsa with some ice water. It's much healthier for you than soda or cervesa.

on 2/29/2008 I've been eating at Chipotle twice a day, every day. I have lost almost 70 pounds in the last 6 months! BTW, I get the guac, cheese and sour cream. I put my before and after pics at ChipotleDiet.com
