Start at Home
Step1
Rid yourself of cultural myths about nudity. You may have grown up thinking that nudity is something dirty or that it always means sexuality. In fact, nudity is our natural state as humans and is no more sexual or dirty than being clothed.
Step2
Sleep in the nude. If you are not used to being nude, start by simply sleeping with no clothing on. This will get you acclimated to being nude, and you may even find it a more comfortable way to sleep.
Step3
Wait to dress after showering. After your shower, towel dry, put the towel away and go on about your preparations. Since you were nude in the shower, extending the nudity won't feel as strange as would simply taking off your clothes.
Step4
Go nude whenever your house is warm. Try cleaning your house, watching television or cooking dinner nude.
Step5
Spend some time nude outdoors if you have a well-screened patio or yard. Moving your nudity outside will probably feel strange at first, even if you were comfortable inside. Try doing a single activity outdoors: tend to your garden, enjoy a cup of coffee or sunbathe.
Try a Nude Beach
Step1
Locate a nude beach to visit once you are comfortable being nude at home. You can find one online through the Nude Places site.
Step2
Take off your clothing and settle onto your towel after you arrive at the beach. It is helpful to bring a book or magazine to keep you occupied if you need distraction. Bring whatever you would bring to a regular beach.
Step3
Look around rather than averting your gaze. At first, you will probably want to look away from the other nudists. However, they are comfortable with nudity, so you can be, too.
Step4
Interact with others at the beach, just as you would if they were clothed. When myths about nudity surface in your thoughts, remember that nudity is perfectly natural and is no more sexual than clothing—and is often less sexual.
Step5
Enjoy the sun and the water. As you feel comfortable with your nudity, relax and enjoy sunbathing and swimming. You will probably find it much more enjoyable than wearing a suit to the beach.
Visit a Nudist Club or Resort
Step1
Understand that most nudist clubs and resorts are family-friendly places and are not focused on sexuality. Personal boundaries are respected and visitors don't assume that nudity equals sexuality. Resorts that have a sexual theme are clearly labeled as such. Knowing this can ease your fears about visiting.
Step2
Locate a nudist club locally or a resort in an area that you want to visit. A website like Nude Places is a good place to begin your search. Nudist discussion boards can also give you some ideas.
Step3
Plan your trip with a friend or partner for the best experience. Experiencing nudism for an extended period can be disorienting, so bring another interested friend along. You can then have someone to share your feelings with during trip.
Step4
Begin with a short stay so you don't get overwhelmed. If you are traveling to a resort, a two- to three-night stay should immerse you in nudist culture without overwhelming you. If you are visiting a local club, start with an afternoon or evening outing.
Step5
Enjoy the activities the resort or club has to offer. Even ordinary activities may seem new when you are doing them as a nudist.
Step6
Network with other nudists at the club or resort to find out how to participate more fully in nudist culture.

on 10/17/2007 There is a difference in nudism or naturalism and pornography. Nudism believes in the freedom from the restrictions of clothing, Porn is for sexual gratification. And you may need to check naturistspace.org out there, it's a cool place to meet some new&pure nudist friends... I met many cool like minded friends there.
