Define an Embedded Object in HTML

Enter the EMBED element in the following format:
Step4
Specify the display parameters for the embedded object using the standard ALIGN, WIDTH, or HEIGHT attributes on the EMBED element.
Step5
Specify additional parameters specific to the type of embedded object using attributes it recognizes. For example, the AUTOSTART option is accepted by most browsers to indicate a music clip should start playing when the page is loaded.
Step6
Create an optional NOEMBED element to display information to users for whom the embedded object cannot be displayed or played, as follows:
Sorry, your browser cannot play this clip.

Tips & Warnings

  • All of your web visitors may not have the software required to open and view your embedded material. Consider offering an additional link to download the material as well.
  • Applications (executables) cannot be embedded.
