    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Bottle
    • Six or more people
      • 1

Attend a party, preferably one where there are few adults present. If adults insist on hanging around, find a place where you and your fellow players can enjoy some privacy.

      • 2

Sit in a circle with your friends. Place a bottle in the middle of the circle.

      • 3

Pick someone to go first. Spin the bottle so that it completes at least one full rotation. Once the bottle stops, the top will be pointing at another person in the circle. If it stops spinning towards you, spin again.

      • 4

Kiss whoever the bottle points to. You absolutely must kiss this person. You cannot refuse to kiss anyone, even if you dislike him or her.

      • 5

The person to the right of the spinner goes next. Keep playing until everyone has kissed everyone else at least once, or the game loses its appeal.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Decide your rules in advance. Examples include same-sex kissing rules or people that you cannot kiss because of certain relationships, and so forth.

    • Decide in advance if kissers must kiss in front of everyone else or if they will be allowed to have privacy.

    • Play the game with at least 6 players, if possible.

    • Do not feel pressured to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Remember, kissing can include a quick peck on the lips, a kiss on the hand or cheek, or an "air kiss."

I love spinning the bottle, kissing, and just about anything with a woman.

LOL! You're probably right Desula. The "bottoms up" version of spin-the-bottle is what adults usually play.

I guess if you've been married over 10 years, Spin the Bottle wouldn't be the game to recommend at a party? But I remember the early 80's oh, my!!! : )
