How to Make Slime
Making slime is a fun activity for kids, especially around Halloween. They'll want to hang it from their nose after a fake sneeze, or let it drip from a pretend wound. But making slime shouldn't be just a holiday craft; it's a good activity for your children anytime of the year. So, get out the mixing bowl and get ready for a slimy good time.

1
Dissolve Borax in 1/2 cup of water. Stir the mixture and then set it aside.
-
2
Mix 2 cups of white glue with 1 1/2 cups water in another bowl. Add food coloring, if desired. Kids seem to like a nice lime green color, which resembles snot.
-
3
Pour the Borax solution into the glue mixture. Mix together until a thick gelatin is formed.
-
4
Knead the slime for about 5 minutes. The more it is kneaded, the drier and less sticky it becomes.
-
5
Store the slime in a plastic baggie, otherwise it will mold.
