How to Change Verizon Email Settings

Verizon email settings determine how your email is filtered and how it is displayed on the page. These settings can be changed in a short amount of time and with little effort, making it easier to send and receive email at home or at the office.

Instructions

1. Go to the Verizon website and type in your user name and password to sign into your Verizon email account.

2. Click on the "Email & More" tab at the top of the screen. This will then open an Email preview and menu.

3. Go to the left side of the screen and click on the "Options" button under "Check My Email."

4. Decide what settings you would like to change and refer to the topics at the top of the "Options" screen.

5. Choose from the tabs to add a signature to emails, change the mail filters, forward your mail and even choose which senders to block mail from. Within each tab there will be separate instructions to make changes to each item.

Tips & Warnings

• Always be sure to click OK at the bottom of the screen after changing a setting to ensure that it gets saved.
