Learn How to Select Music for a Tupperware Party

Step1
Avoid music with provocative lyrics, brassy overtones or a percussion section to beat the band. Having this kind of music playing in the background at a Tupperware party might inspire people to kick up their feet and dance, but it will also distract them from the reason you brought them to your home in the first place--to buy Tupperware.
Step2
Select elemental or instrumental music to play during your Tupperware party. This kind of music is usually soft, mellow and will promote relaxation among your party guests. It will also allow conversation to be heard, which is especially important when it comes time to demonstrate the latest Tupperware products.
Step3
Keep the volume where it should be. Playing the music too loud at your Tupperware party will be an interference. Likewise, playing it too low won't have any impact at all. So, try to keep the volume at a level where it can still be heard in the background, but won't filter into normal conversation.
Step4
Go retro or use music to correspond to the theme of your Tupperware party, if you're using one. For example, if your party is outdoors with a western flair, then you might decide to go with new country music. Or, if you're using a beach theme, then the Beach Boys might be just the thing. (Just remember the volume rule.)
Step5
Shop for music online with a well known retailer such as Amazon (see Resources below). Amazon has a huge variety of music categories and artists to choose from.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have a CD player, you might be able to route your music through your DVD player (or even a computer) instead. Refer to the instruction manual for your specific equipment.
  • Make sure your stereo equipment is up to the task before the date of your party rolls around. More than one party has crashed due to faulty equipment.
