A dirty stove top covered in food and grease will ruin the look of an otherwise sparkling kitchen. The best way to keep your stove looking good is by cleaning after every use. You don't need to buy harsh cleaners to get the job done. Use simple items you probably already have around the house. Vinegar is a disinfectant that will leave your stove top shiny, and baking soda is a nonabrasive scrub that is safe for all types of stove top surfaces.

Tips & Warnings
  • Immediately wipe up spills as you're cooking to keep them from becoming baked on.
  • If you didn't make a mess while you were cooking, you can just spray the stove top with vinegar water and wipe it off to clean and disinfect the stove top after every use.
