Tips & Warnings

  • In order to understand your website's statistics, you must first know the basic terms used in the statistics: "Files" shows the total requests given to the server from a certain period. "Sites" displays the total unique IP addresses or hostnames that visited the website. "Pages" shows the URL of the user and the "Kbyte" displays the total amount of data that is being transferred from the server to the user's computer.

  • Other site statistics included in the report are entry/exit pages, countries, total number of requests, traffic by domain, traffic by file, requests by browser type, requests by operating system and requests by referring URLs.

  • Be cautious when using the "Site" statistic to determine the number of unique visitors to your website. Many users have more than one IP address.
