How to Check the Amount of Space Available on a Memory Stick With the PSP

The Memory Stick Duo that comes with your Sony PSP can hold up to 32 megabytes of data. To manage your storage capacity effectively, you need an easy way to check how much memory you've got available. Luckily, there is one!

• Sony PSP

1. Push the "Home" button on your PSP to load the "Home" menu.

2. Select the "Game" icon.

3. Insert a Memory Stick Duo into the Memory Stick slot on your PSP.

4. Select the "Memory Stick" icon from the menu.

5. Press the triangle button to display the "Options" menu.

6. Choose "Information" in the "Options" menu.

7. Read the information in this menu to find out how much free space is available on your Memory Stick Duo.

Tips & Warnings

• Free up space on your Memory Stick by deleting old saved game data, but make sure that you don't delete any current saved games.

• The available capacity information takes into account saved data of all types, including saved games, music files and video files that are stored on your Memory Stick Duo.

• Get a second Memory Stick so you can back up important data.
