Proposing on a plane is a great idea. You certainly have a captive audience and people to help you celebrate. If you would like to propose on a plane, follow these steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Be certain that a plane is the right spot for a proposal. If your girlfriend does not enjoy being the center of attention, make other plans. Also, if you are not absolutely certain she will say yes, create a plan B. There's no escape route on a plane! You could be stuck together in a very awkward situation for quite some time if she does not accept your proposal.
Step2
Before making any reservations, be sure your girlfriend is available and willing to take the trip with you.
Step3
Book the reservations for the plane as well as hotel and ground transportation.
Step4
Confirm plans with your girlfriend so she can mark the trip in her calendar.
Step5
Decide at which point you would like to propose. Generally, it is a good idea to propose in the middle of the trip when food and beverages are not being served. Not only will you lessen the risk of a distraction at just the wrong time, you will also be able to enjoy the remainder of the flight as a newly engaged couple.
Step6
Take the stewardess aside and let her know your plans. Ask if there is something special the airline can do such as complementary champagne and an announcement over the intercom.
Step7
With security being as tight as it is, you may want to try to go through a separate security check in case your belongings are checked or you are searched. Otherwise, she may see the ring.
Step8
Plan what you would like to say, but do not worry if you forget your lines. Just say what you feel and you can't go wrong!
