Things You'll Need:
- Computer with Internet connection
- Valid email address
-
Step 1
Log in to your MySpace account and click on "Account Settings."
-
Step 2
Click on "Cancel Account." You'll be asked to verify your account's deletion. Click on the "Cancel My Account" button.
-
Step 3
Confirm cancellation a second time. You have the option of letting MySpace know with a short comment why you are deleting your account before you click on "Delete My Account." You can also change your mind at this point by choosing "Keep My Account."
-
Step 4
Check your email for a "MySpace account cancellation request" email. You must click on a link contained in the email if you want to permanently delete your account. If you ignore the email, you account will not be deleted.
-
Step 1
Ask your child to delete the account with you following the steps above. "Cancel Account" is located under "Account Settings."
-
Step 2
Check your child's email address. An account verification will be sent to the email address he or she registered with originally. If you do not have access to that account, you must continue to the next step.
-
Step 3
Take control of your child's account. Any accounts you wish to be deleted without access to the email must have all content removed. Chose "Edit Profile" to remove content and then enter the text "Remove Profile" in the "About Me" section.
-
Step 4
Let MySpace know the accounts are ready to be deleted. Sending them an email through their customer service form is the best way to get in touch (see Resources below). Include the MySpace URL to be deleted in the email.

on 9/3/2007 Does MySpace have any humans working in customer service? I have contacted them re: log in problems and denied account access multiple times and keep getting a canned response that goes nowhere. Our company wanted to open a Myspace page for a 17 year old artist of ours. MySpace wouldn't accept the email address. In frustration I used my personal account. Once the page was initially set with the url: Myspace.com/blitzhits I changed the email addres and put the page on aol "favorites" for quic access. The next day when we clicked on the link & a screen came up from MySpace saying the account had been deleted. We then opened a new account page and included the url which Myspace keeps telling us in use.. on a page that is OURS but that we cannot access. This is a serious as Blitz is this artist's registered US trademark as singer, writer, dancer, actress and performer. HELP!!!!
