How to Plan a Summer Vacation in Europe
Europe is exploding with history and ancient relics while still offering all the creature comforts that vacations in the United States provide. From world class beaches to breathtaking architecture to world-renowned fashion districts, there's something in Europe for everyone. It takes a little planning, though, to decide where you'll go and what you'll see-and what you'll save for next time. Follow these steps to start planning your trip.

Consider your budget to decide how much you can afford to spend on your hotel stay, airfare, transportation, attractions, meals and tips.

Collect passports, birth certificates and an additional photo ID for each person in your travel party. Passports valid for 6 months beyond your intended return are required. Travel visas are not required for stays less than 90 days.

Ask your travel agent or search your favorite online travel broker for packages, including transportation and a hotel stay that fits your bill.

Pack your suitcases and remember to bring sunscreen, bug repellent and light clothing.
