1. Book your tickets through a travel agent or third-party Web site. ItAli Airlines does not offer direct booking in English.
2. Call the airline to purchase a ticket for a child traveling alone or for a handicapped individual. The airline does not charge extra for these, but they mark the information in their system so they can prepare accordingly.
3. Charter a plane from Reggio Calabria if you are not satisfied with the normal destinations or if you want a plane to yourself.
4. Check out the ItAli Executive service, which offers reduced fares and more comfortable flights for frequent business travelers.

5. Decide where you want to go. The flights at ItAli Airlines depart from three cities: Milan, Reggio Calabria and Pescara, where the company is based. Destinations include such cities as Rome, Turin, Venice, Nice and Olbia.
6. Know that ItAli Airlines operates a fleet of 10 planes, including five McDonnell Douglas jets that seat 164 passengers each. The average age of a plane in the ItAli Airlines fleet is about 20 years old.

7. Print out a copy of the e-mail confirmation and bring it with you to the airport. ItAli Airlines does not issue tickets, so you need that confirmation number plus a picture ID.
8. Check with ItAli Airlines' call center the day before and the day of your flight to ensure that your flight schedule has not changed. Because of the smaller size of the planes in this fleet, weather is more consequential than it is for larger planes.
