Next time you find yourself visiting Mountain Valley, California, be sure to catch a glimpse of the Shoreline Amphitheatre (if not a show). This stunning Amphitheatre holds up to 25,000 concertgoers with 6,500 seats and unreserved lawn seating for picnickers. If you're a fan of live musical performances or excellent architecture, you'll want to enjoy an outdoor concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain Valley, CA.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cushion
  • Small umbrella
  • Plastic bag for food
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunblock
  • Tickets
  1. Step 1

    If you are coming from abroad, make sure your travels coincide with some performances you want to see. Check the Shoreline Amphitheatre Web site for a list of events.

  2. Step 2

    If you want to get good seats, buy tickets as soon as you can. Otherwise you might find yourself standing in the grass.

  3. Step 3

    Drive there. You can get driving directions from the Web site. Or check with your hotel to see if they can shuttle you there.

  4. Step 4

    VIP parking costs $20 and gets you close to the venue. Anyone else pays $4, which is added into the ticket price.

  5. Step 5

    If you want to bring your kids and hang out in the Family Zone, you might need to arrive a little early to get a good spot.

Tips & Warnings
  • There is no smoking or alcoholic beverages on the Family Zone (the lawn seating).
  • Bring a blanket and some snacks with you and enjoy a picnic while you watch the concert from the lawn.
  • Bring your disposable cameras, small beach chairs, seat cushions and gallon size plastic bags for your snacks.
  • There are concession stands as well offering full menus of Mexican food, sausages, barbecue and vegetarian fare.
  • Laser pointers, video cameras, professional cameras, coolers and weapons are prohibited.
  • Each person is allowed to bring one bag of snacks.
