How to Play the Drinking Game James Bond

The next time you're having a pint and a James Bond flick is on the tube, have some fun and play the drinking game James Bond. The James Bond drinking game is as simple or as complex as you want it to be. But here are some must-have rules for the basic version.

Things You'll Need

  • Drinks
  • James Bond movie

Play the James Bond Drinking Game

  • Turn on a James Bond movie. Any of them will do.

  • Pour everyone a drink.

  • Drink whenever someone says "James."

  • Drink when someone says "Bond."

  • Drink when someone says "007."

  • Finish your drink when Bond orders a "vodka martini, shaken not stirred."

  • Add any of your own rules. Depending on how smashed you want to get, consider some of the following rules.

  • Take a drink when a girl with a ridiculous name is introduced (Octopussy, Xenia Onatopp, Pussy Galore).

  • Have a drink when Q belittles James Bond. Drink again if James Bond breaks one of Q's gadgets.

  • Drink if Bond tries a new food in a new country. Drink twice if he hates it.

Tips & Warnings

  • For an extra authentic feel, try a drink from the movie such as: vodka martini, mint julep, rum Collins or bourbon and branch water. It might be a short game if you are slamming hard liquor though!
  • The game ends when the movie is over, or when everyone passes out.
  • Be sure to plan a buffer activity for everyone to sober up before going home.
  • If you get too drunk, switch to water halfway through.
