How to Book Travel on Hemus Air

Hemus Air is one of the two major airlines that branched off from the now defunct Balkan Bulgarian Airlines. From its main headquarters at the Sofia Airport in Bulgaria, Hemus Air offers domestic flights within Bulgaria, as well as service to international airports throughout Europe and the Mediterranean.

Book Your Travel

1. Book tickets on Hemus Air by visiting their Web site (see Resources below).
2. Enter your chosen departure and arrival cities, as well as the specific departure date and the number of passengers that will be traveling. If you want to book a round trip ticket, be sure to also enter in your return date.
3. Hit the "Continue" button to view the available flights.
4. Pick a flight and click on the box in the far left column of the flight listing.
5. Hit "Continue" to view the specific flight information and to purchase your ticket.
6. Enter your credit card information in order to book your ticket. If you have a Borika credit card, you can enter your CIN number directly into the box provided.

Decide Where You Want to Travel

7. Go to the main Web site for Hemus Air (see Resources below). On the left hand side of the screen there will be a map that shows each of the cities that they serve.
8. Find out some information on the destination cities you are interested in. You may want to contact each city's tourism bureau to find out more about the specific attractions and points of interest that are located in each area.
9. Browse the various advertisements on the main page for special travel deals to selected locations.
10. Choose your destination city based on all of the information you have gathered. If you already have a travel destination in mind, make sure that Hemus Air has flights available to that region.

• Besides offering regular passenger flights to and from Bulgaria, Hemus Air also offers a variety of chartered flights and cargo transportation services.
• Hemus Air has a number of duty-free items available for purchase onboard their flights such as cigarettes, liquor, and luxury items. Items sold onboard Hemus Air flights are often up to 20% cheaper than normal because you are not required to pay the tax.
