How to Transfer Photos to Your Archos 104 MP3 Player

You can use your Archos 104 MP3 player to transfer picture files between computers. Just follow these instructions.

Things You'll Need:

• USB cable

1. Turn on your computer. Plug the USB cable that came with your MP3 player into an open USB port on your computer.

2. Turn off your MP3 player and plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port located on top of the player. Turn on the player.

3. On your computer, right-click the pictures you want and select "Copy" from the menu that appears.

4. Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your computer. Double-click "Archos 104 Hard Drive" or "Archos 104 Device" in the "My Computer" window.

5. Open the "Pictures" folder. Right-click and select "Paste" from the menu that appears.

6. Let the files copy. Click the "Safely Remove Device" icon located on the left side of the Start toolbar at the bottom of your screen.

7. Click "Safely Remove USB Storage Device." Wait for a message to appear that says it is safe to remove the device, and then unplug the USB cable from your computer and your MP3 player.

Tips & Warnings

• You must put picture files into the Pictures folder on your Archos 104 MP3 player to view them.
• Change the default "USB Connection Type" when downloading files from a computer that does not use the Windows XP operating system.
