How to Use the Battery Pack of the Polaroid PDV-0823A Portable DVD Player

Without the battery pack, the Polaroid PDV-0823A 8" Portable DVD player wouldn't be portable. Here's how to use the player's battery pack.

• Polaroid PDV-0823A 8" Portable DVD battery pack
• Polaroid PDV-0823A 8" Portable DVD player

1. To attach the battery pack to the Polaroid PDV-0823A turn the player upside down and align the tabs and battery contacts to the corresponding tab recesses and contacts.

2. When you hear the battery pack click, it has locked in place.

3. To charge the battery pack, plug the 12 V DC IN power adapter's end into the jack on the right-hand side of the DVD player. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a safe outlet.

4. Let the battery pack charge for four hours. After it has fully charged, you can use it for 2.5 hours.

5. Unplug the power adapter from both the battery pack and the outlet.

Tips & Warnings

• Check that the battery pack is fully charged by looking at the battery indicator: a green light indicates charging is completed.

• Charge the battery pack prior to using it for the first time.

• Charging the battery pack for more than 8 hours can result in reduced service life.
