Ready to change the way your WordPress blog looks? Here's how to change your WordPress template.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet connection
  • WordPress blog account
  1. Step 1

    Log into your WordPress blog and go to the dashboard for the blog you want to change.

  2. Step 2

    Select "Presentation."

  3. Step 3

    Choose from the available themes.

  4. Step 4

    Click on the theme you'd like to use.

  5. Step 5

    Upload new photos and adjust widgets by making changes with the Custom Image Header and Sidebar Widgets tabs.

  6. Step 6

    Click "Save Changes" when you're done.

Tips & Warnings
  • Want to create your own template? Make changes to the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and preview how it will look. Want everyone else to see those changes too? Purchase a Custom CSS Upgrade to apply your custom layout to your blog.
