1. Connect to the Internet. Now, visit eBay.com.

2. Select the "Sell" tab at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where there will be an option to register for eBay. Click this option.

4. Click the "Create Seller's Account" option and provide your credit card number and checking account information.

5. Select a category from the list of options for your item to be sold under. Add an item description to your listing. Information like the item's weight, color, condition and age will make your description more complete. Also add a picture to your listing to enhance your sale.

6. Provide the correct billing and shipping information for your item and select the auction sale option. Choose the parameters of the auction at this time.

7. Glance over your listing one more time to make sure it looks the way you want it to and click the "Continue" button. This will complete your listing and allow you to sell your item at auction on eBay.
