How to Track Visitors to a Blogger Blog Using Site Meter
Would you like to know more about the visitors to your Blogger blog? A Site Meter counter will let you track the number of visitors your blog receives, as well as their location and how often they have visited your page.

Go to Site Meter (see Resources below) and click "Sign Up."

Supply your blog's URL, name and a one-word code when prompted.

Supply your email address and the requested statistical information.

Visit your mailbox to open the email your registration generated. It will contain your code name and password.

Use the code name and password to log in to your Site Meter account.

Select "Manage" from the menu bar.

Select "HTML Code" from the column on the left side of the page.

Select the option for adding Site Meter to a Blogger site (or Blogger Beta, depending on which version you use).

Copy the code generated and follow the instructions for installing it on your blog page.

Customize your meter by clicking "Meter Style." Choose how you want the meter to appear on your page.

Customize other elements, such as the location of your blog and your starting count, using the options in the left-hand column.

Select "Statistics" in the menu bar to view reports on visitor count, the location of visitors and the duration of each page visit.

Tips & Warnings
The free meter supplied by the Site Meter must remain visible on your page. However, you can select a counter that only displays the Site Meter logo while hiding the actual count.
The one-word code you supply at registration will be visible to visitors if they roll their cursor over the counter.
