Geocities allows you to add many features to your Web page, one of which is news headlines. Below is a list of simple steps to help you add Yahoo News headlines to your Geocities Web page.

      Go to the Geocities Web site and log in to Yahoo by entering your username and password.

      Once you are logged in, click on the "Create and Update" tab on the Geocities control panel. Next, click on the "Yahoo PageBuilder" link located under the basic building tools.

      Click on the link to launch the PageBuilder. The PageBuilder will open with your current Web page.

      Click on the "Add-ons" button, which is located near the top of the window. Clicking on this will open a toolbox with a list of categories.

      Click on the headlines category and you will notice different types of headline pop-ups in the "Add-ons" section of the toolbox. Click on the headline that you want to post on your page.

      Choose the news you want to post by finding the news source that you want in the drop down window. Then choose the color for your title, headlines, font, and background then click ok.

      Move the headline to the position you want it displayed on the page. Save and post your page.
