1. Open your Internet browser and go to the Skype Web site (see link below). If you already have a Skype account, just log in. If not, sign up for one.

2. Search "SkypeIn" or locate the link on the left-hand side labeled "SkypeIn." A page should be displayed about SkypeIn.

3. Read the information about SkypeIn. The page should explain that SkypeIn is a premium service offered by Skype, and that it is possible to receive calls from a regular phone on Skype.

4. Once you have reviewed the information about SkypeIn, click the "Buy a SkypeIn Number" link at the bottom of the screen.

5. Follow the steps to purchase a SkypeIn number. Now your friends and family will be able to call you from their regular phones when you are on Skype.
