How to Perform Auron's Overdrives in Final Fantasy X

Auron is, hands down, the most powerful fighter on your team. His Overdrives either pound an enemy into the ground, send them flying to the horizon or encase them in a tornado. The trick is knowing how to perform his Overdrives. If you fail to input the code in the short time allowed, all you get is a shadow of his true power.

Things You'll Need

• Computer for online play
• Video game console

Instructions

1. Input Left, Down, Up, Right, L1, R1, X, O to use his Dragon Fang Overdrive.

2. Use the Dragon Fang to attack multiple opponents. Most of Auron's other Overdrives are designed to target single enemies.

3. Punch Triangle, O, Square, X, Left, Right, X to use his Shooting Star Overdrive.

4. Use the Shooting Star to rid yourself of enemies you cannot beat otherwise or to take a huge chunk out of bosses.

5. Press Up, L1, Down, R1, Right, Left, Triangle to use the Banishing Blade.

6. Throw the Banishing Blade at your tougher enemies and bosses. This Overdrive automatically adds Power Break, Armor Break, Mental Break and Magic Break to the target. It's really cool to watch!

7. Click X, Right, R1, Left, L1, Triangle to use his Tornado Overdrive.

8. Use the Tornado on bosses, large enemies and huge mobs. It damages everything and hurts a lot. Savor the feeling when the armored behemoth who was hounding you gets swept up in a raging wind and is dropped to his doom!

9. Practice these moves. The faster you can pull them off, the more damage the attack inflicts.
