How to Add Links to a WordPress Blog

Ready to share more with your blog readers in your WordPress blog? Why not share links to your favorite sites. Here's how.

Instructions

Step 1

Sign in to your WordPress blog and go to your dashboard.
Step 2

Select Presentation, and under it, select Sidebar Widgets.
Step 3

Drag the Links widget to the sidebar. Click the Save Changes button.
Step 4

Go back to the main dashboard menu and select Blogroll.
Step 5

Select Add Links.
Step 6

Add the name, URL and description of each link; click Add to add the link.
Step 7

Repeat to add additional links.

Want to remove a link? Return to Blogroll and make changes.
Want to add a link in your post? Click the link icon in write post mode or write in the HTML code: < a href=”http://www.examplesite.com/”> Example Site
