Google phonebook entries contain phone numbers and street addresses of U.S. residences as well as businesses. However, you can request that Google remove your contact information from the phone book. To remove your details from the phone book, here is what you should do.

    To Remove Residential Listing

  1. Step 1

    Go to the Google help page.

  2. Step 2

    Fill out the form on the page that includes your name, city, state and phone number.

  3. Step 3

    Specify a reason for removal and click on the submit form button.

  4. To Remove Business Listing

  5. Step 1

    Type a written request for removal of your business listing. The request should be on your company’s letterhead.

  6. Step 2

    Ensure that you include a contact phone number in the request letter. Google will verify your request before removing the listing.

  7. Step 3

    Ensure that you have signed the letter.

  8. Step 4

    Mail the request to Google Phonebook Removal at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once you remove your entry from the Google phonebook, you can’t add it back again.
