Google has an in-built calculator that incorporates various conversion features. One such feature is weight conversion. Whether you're following a recipe or packing a suitcase for international travel, the in-built calculator allows you to perform varied weight conversions.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Google search homepage.

  2. Step 2

    Enter the number in the original unit of weight followed by the keyword "in" and the unit to which you want to convert it. For instance, "400 ounces in pounds." Click on the Google search button or hit return.

  3. Step 3

    You can also type units to be converted without including numbers to get a general conversion rate. For instance, "ounces in pounds" will show how many pounds equal 1 ounce. Click on the Google search button or hit return.
