1. Go online and pull up homepage of your favorite search engine, such as Google or Yahoo.

2. Search for online city guides (see below).

3. Look for local restaurants in food and dining sections in these guides.

4. Look at online food and restaurant directories such as www.zagat.com and www.dinesite.com.

5. Search online restaurants by using keywords such as 'name of your city' + 'restaurants'. Look at several Web sites that show up on the search page and search for local restaurants.

6. Visit Web sites of your local newspaper or news network. They usually serve as a neighborhood guide and may have information about local restaurants and eating joints in your neighborhood.
